Class News and Important Dates
3/16 - Mother/Son Event - If you would like to attend this you can purchase the tickets in the office. The ticket includes dinner and a dance.
3/16 - Last Day for Work - All work needs to be turned in by Friday in order to be included on the report cards. I will be sending home work throughout the week with those who are missing assignments.
3/20 - Report Card Day - Tuesday will be a half day and we will not be having after-school or serving lunch. The students will need to be picked up at 11:30. If you have any questions or concerns about grades, be sure to ask me as soon as possible.
4/16 - 4/20 - AIMS Test - Mark this week down in your calendars. The students will need to be in attendance all this week.
AIMS Prep - Throughout the month of March we will be doing a lot of review and preparing for the AIMS Test. It is very crucial that the students are here for this. Please be sure the students are in attendance every day if possible. When they miss a day they are missing out on a lot of review and new concepts.

Third Quarter Science Project - The weather project was due on Monday the 5th of March. If this was not turned in, it needs to be completed and turned is as soon as possible! This will take up the majority of the science grade for the third quarter. It is better to be turned in late than not at all.
Report Card Day - We will be sending home report cards on March 20th. Please be sure to stay on top of the homework and any missing class work. All work will need to be completed and turned in by Friday, March 16th. Tuesday the 20th will be a half day and we will not be having after school or serving lunch. The students will need to be picked up by 11:30.

3/6 - Spring Pictures - If you would like to have your child's picture taken you will need to send the money to school tomorrow. Only those who have paid will get their picture taken. The students will be allowed to dress down for these pictures.
3/7 - "Duds for Dollars"
3/7 - End of Cookie Dough Fundraiser - If you are participating in selling the cookie dough, the orders will need to be turned in by this Wednesday.

Tuesday - P.J. Day - If the students earned this, they can dress in their pajamas and bring pillows for the read-in. They will also need to bring their favorite book.
Wednesday - Bookmarks and Dollar Duds - We are having a special Dollar Duds Day this week to raise money for the character charm program.
Thursday - Poem-In-A-Pocket
Friday - Dress as Your Favorite Character - The students can dress on this day as a character from a book. It needs to be appropriate for school and they will need to describe the book that the character comes from.
Valentines Grams - The Grams will be on sale throughout this week in the office and will be delivered on Valentines Day.
Arizona's 100th Birthday - We will be celebrating this on the 14th of February. The kids have been asked to bring a food that reminds them of Arizona. The party will begin at 1:00. They may also bring valentines for the class if they would like to.
