Important Dates and Class News

3rd Quarter Project - The assignments for our history project were sent home last week.  Please be sure you have your child start working on this right away.  It will be due March 2nd and will be worth the majority of the history grade for the 3rd quarter.  If you have any questions about the assignment, please let me know.

Reading Logs - Keep turning in those reading logs!  They are due every Monday and need to have five slots filled in with a parent's initials.

Love of Reading Week/Spirit Week - We will be dressing up and having different activities throughout the week.

Valentine's Day - We will be having a party and passing out Valentine's Cards.  If you would like to participate in the card exchange, please bring a card for everyone in the class.  I will be sending home a list of the kids in the class on Friday.  We will also be needing treats for the party.  If you would like to donate treats, it would be greatly appreciated!

Important Dates and Class News

3rd Quarter Project - The assignment for the 3rd quarter history project will be sent home today.  Please be sure that you look over this and your child starts as soon as possible.  This will be worth the majority of the history grade for the quarter.  If you have any questions please let me know.

Family Link - All of the grades up to this point have been entered into the Family Link website.  Please take a look to see how your child is doing and what they are missing.  If you do not have a password to this, you can stop by the office and they will get you one. 

1/30 - Daddy/Daughter Dance - Dinner is from 6 - 6:30 and the dance is from 6:30 - 8 p.m.

Important Dates and Class News

Weekly Progress Reports - The progress reports will be sent home every Monday.  Please take a look at these and send them back to school signed by the end of the week. 

Reading Logs - The reading logs are due every Monday.  Please be sure that your child is reading twenty minutes, five times a week and returning the signed reading log to school to get credit.  Thanks for your help with this.

Re-Enrollment Forms - These forms were sent home last week.  If you are planning on coming back to this school next year they need to be given to the office, so they can hold a place for you when they open up registration.

Re-Enrollment Forms - Forms are being sent home today.  All forms need to be back to the front office by January 25th.  Following this date open enrollment will begin.

Important Dates and Class News

Class Party - We will be having a party and a gift exchange on Friday.  If you would like to participate in the gift exchange you will need to bring a $5 wrapped gift that would be appropriate for either a girl or a boy.  Please feel free to donate treats for our party.

Dec. 17th - P.J. Day - We will be watching the Polar Express and the kids will be allowed to dress in their Pajamas for the day.

Dec. 19th - Report Card Day - Report cards will be sent home on Friday and we will be having our award assembly at 9:45.  I will be sending home notes with the students who will be receiving awards at the assembly.  This Friday will be a regular full day with after-school.

Weather Project - The projects were due today.  If your child has not turned it in please have them complete it and bring it to school as soon as possible!

End of Quarter - All work needs to be turned in by Friday the 12th.  If you have any questions regarding what work your child is missing send me an email or stop by at any time.  You can also take a look on family link.  Report cards will be sent home on Friday the 19th.

Class Party - We will be having a gift exchange on Friday the 19th along with our class party.  If your child would like to participate in this they will need to bring a wrapped gift (no more than $5) to school.  Be sure that this gift will be appropriate for either a girl or boy.  If you would also like to donate treats for the party, it would be greatly appreciated!

12/11 - Cookies with Santa - 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.  Come have a cookie, make a craft and get your picture taken with Santa Clause.
