Monday: Math - Lesson 9 Spelling - Four times each

Tuesday: Math - Lesson 10 Spelling - Definitions

Wednesday: Math - Lesson 11 Spelling - Sentences

Thursday: Math - Lesson 12 Spelling - Pyramids/Study for test

Class News and Important Dates

8/29 - 9/2 - Book Fair - We will have a walk through today for the students to see what is on sale and they will be able to start buying books on Tuesday. The book fair will be open after school and during the open house.

8/30 - Skate Night - This will be at Skate Country from 6 to 8 p.m. Admission is $4 and skates are $3.

8/31 - Open House - Come and join us here at the campus any time between 6 and 8 p.m.

9/5 - No School - Labor Day

9/7 - "Duds for Dollars" - The kids will be able to dress down on this day if they bring a dollar to school. All proceeds from dress down days go directly to the classroom.

9/7 - Entertainment Book Sale Ends - If you are not planning on selling the book, please return to school as soon as possible.

Progress Reports - I will be sending home the progress reports on Monday now so that I can include whether or not they turned in their reading log. Please be sure to sign these and return them to school by the end of the week. If they are not turned in the students will not be able to participate in the free activity on Friday.

Reading Logs - Logs need to be turned in every Monday. They need to have at least five spaces filled in. These are worth ten points each week.

1st Quarter Project - I will be sending home directions on how to complete our science project for the quarter next week.
