Wednesday: Math - Lesson 84 Spelling - Sentences
Thursday: Math - Lesson 85 Spelling - Pyramids/Study for test

Important Dates and Class News

Love-Of-Reading Week
Tuesday - P.J. Day - If the students earned this, they can dress in their pajamas and bring pillows for the read-in. They will also need to bring their favorite book.
Wednesday - Bookmarks and Dollar Duds - We are having a special Dollar Duds Day this week to raise money for the character charm program.
Thursday - Poem-In-A-Pocket
Friday - Dress as Your Favorite Character - The students can dress on this day as a character from a book. It needs to be appropriate for school and they will need to describe the book that the character comes from.

Valentines Grams - The Grams will be on sale throughout this week in the office and will be delivered on Valentines Day.

Arizona's 100th Birthday - We will be celebrating this on the 14th of February. The kids have been asked to bring a food that reminds them of Arizona. The party will begin at 1:00. They may also bring valentines for the class if they would like to.

Science Project - The weather project will be due on the 5th of March. Be sure that the students are in the process of working on these. Please do not wait for the last minute to complete this. It will be worth the majority of the science grade for the quarter.

Mid-Quarter Reports - I have given the students an opportunity to complete some of their missing work over the weekend. I would like to include this work in their reports, so I will be sending these home on Tuesday.
