Important Dates and Class News

Book Fair - The Scholastic Book fair will be open after school on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  It will also be open during the SPIN event on Wednesday night.

Great American Book Sale - This will be the last week for the fundraiser.  If you would not like to sell the book, please return it back to school.  This is a great opportunity to raise money for technology in the class-room.

LPA Ice Bucket Challenge - Mr. Ewald along with other members of the school staff will be participating in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge this Wednesday.  If the students would like to watch this they will need to bring $2 before Wednesday, or $5 on Wednesday.  All proceeds will be donated to the ALS fund.

SPIN Event - Wednesday, August 27th, 6-7:30
You will be able to shop at our book Fair, find a book at our scavenger hunt, and enjoy ice cream sundaes.  This event is free, but we ask that you fill out the registration form that was sent home.

Back to School Dance - Our Back to School Dance is Friday, August 29th.  The cost is $3 and that will include a drink and snack.  The fourth graders dance is from 5 to 6 p.m.

Reading Logs - Keep filling out those reading logs and sending them to school on Monday.

Important Dates and Class News

Reading Logs - Please keep an eye out for those reading logs.  The students will need to read five nights a week and the logs need to be turned in every Monday. 

Book Sale Fundraiser - The book sale is still in full swing.  If you would not like to participate in this please send the book back to school.  The book sale will end this Friday. 

School Master - The Schoolmaster website has been down and I have not yet been able to enter in the grades.  I will let you know when you can access your child's grades online.  If you have any questions in the mean time, please let me know.

8/19 - Picture Day - The kids will need to be in uniform for this picture.

8/20 - Special Duds for Dollars

Important Dates and Class News

Fundraiser - The students were sent home with books to sell on Monday.  Please be sure that the books are returned back to school if you would not like to participate in the fundraiser.  This is a great opportunity to raise funds for technology in the classroom.  Thanks for your help with this.

Class News and Important Dates

Reading Logs - The students will need to read for 25 minutes a night, five nights a week.  The reading logs need to be turned in every Monday.  Please be sure that you are signing these and they are being returned to school on Monday.  Thanks for your help with this.
