Important Dates and Class News

3rd Quarter Project - The assignments for our history project were sent home last week.  Please be sure you have your child start working on this right away.  It will be due March 2nd and will be worth the majority of the history grade for the 3rd quarter.  If you have any questions about the assignment, please let me know.

Reading Logs - Keep turning in those reading logs!  They are due every Monday and need to have five slots filled in with a parent's initials.

Love of Reading Week/Spirit Week - We will be dressing up and having different activities throughout the week.
Monday - Mismatch Day
Tuesday - Superhero Day
Wednesday - Wacky Hair Day
Thursday - Sports Day
Friday - Valentine Shirt

Valentine's Day - We will be having a party and passing out Valentine's Cards.  If you would like to participate in the card exchange, please bring a card for everyone in the class.  I will be sending home a list of the kids in the class on Friday.  We will also be needing treats for the party.  If you would like to donate treats, it would be greatly appreciated!
